France is elected to the Human Rights Council

The vote-that was hold on Tuesday October 13 th at the UN General Assembly in New York- allows France to sit back at the Human Rights Council after five years of absence.

France wants to raise an humanist, progressist and feminist voice

With 167 ballots in favor, France achieves a really good score, that was greeted by the President, Emmanuel Macron.

By being a member of the Council, France wants to consolidate the edifice of Human Rights

François Rivasseau, the French Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva and to the International Organisations in Switzerland, underlines the 3 principles axes of our coming mandate in 2021-2023.
